Health facilities are not available in this tribal area. Malnutrition and sickness impede people’s ability to work, learn and develop a healthy physical body. A training program has been implemented to educate the community in preventative measures to avoid sickness and disease.

We hold yearly Medical & Dental Clinics in the area with volunteer doctors, dentists, midwives, nurses, pharmacists and health care workers from the Philippines and Australia.

A permanent medical clinic is part of the new Jan McKay Community Centre currently under construction. Ultimately,this clinic will provide fulltime medical and dental support to the isolated tribal region of Central Mindanao. Donations are needed to purchase medical supplies and equipment.
