Education

Noble Endeavours primary school program is aimed at meeting the needs of Indigenous and Moslem children. These children due to poverty and social standing have never had the opportunity to go to school.

The education they receive is free and includes books, school supplies and a nutritious lunch and provides a healthy learning environment for basic skills and creativity. The children are also taught oral and personal hygiene and safety.

In 2008 a kindergarten was established and equipped in Sandongan, and by June 2011 we now have 103 students every day. Every one gets a hot meal and a free education.

Construction startedon the Janice McKay Community Centre in May 2010 and is nearing completion. This building program will eventually result in a complete Primary and High School with an Adult Education Centre for the village. Tax deductible monthly child sponsorship provides all school resources including teaching staff, a hot meal every day, books and clothing. Alternately your one off donation can help fund the expansion of school infrastructure.

Noble Endeavours also conducts adult life classes that address personal hygiene, food preparation, agricultural training and livelihood development to equip the local villagers to better manage their lives.
